Biography

Edith is a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with over two decades of experience in the health field. She treats both adults and children.

Finding the right support for your mental health can make a meaningful difference in your life. I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without fear of judgment. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my approach is integrative, collaborative, and patient-centered, with a focus on understanding each individual’s unique experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals.

I work with individuals across the lifespan who are navigating a range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), depression, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric conditions. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and telehealth services tailored to each person’s needs and treatment goals.

My background in education, working with learners from elementary school through college age, has shaped my understanding of the diverse ways people learn, communicate, cope with challenges, and experience the world. This experience informs my appreciation for individual differences and the importance of meeting each person where they are. I recognize that mental health is influenced by many factors, and I strive to consider the whole person rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis or symptoms.

I believe that effective mental health care is a partnership. I value open communication, shared decision-making, and developing treatment plans that align with your needs, preferences, and personal goals. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, mood changes, attention difficulties, or other mental health concerns, my goal is to help you better understand your experiences and explore treatment options that support your overall well-being.

Reaching out for mental health support is an important step, and you do not have to take that step alone. I strive to create a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I look forward to working collaboratively with you as you move toward greater balance, improved well-being, and a better quality of life.
